Kshitij Bhatta is a PhD candidate in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Virginia. Kshitij Bhatta holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Mexico and an MS in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia. Kshitij has contributed to various projects, including the analysis of power grid systems, the modeling and control of robot-enabled manufacturing systems, and reinforcement learning based wood and food drying control. He has gained significant experience through internships as a Research Associate at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, a Machine Learning Fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory, and an Applied Scientist Intern at Amazon.com, Inc. His research interests are on the modeling and control of complex systems and the application of machine learning for control.
