Muhammad Waseem is a PhD candidate in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Virginia. Muhammad holds a BS and MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar Pakistan. Muhammad has contributed to various projects, including the mechanical analyis of polylactic acid (PLA) 3D printed parts, the modeling and control of robot-assisted multiproduct flexible manufacturing systems, and reinforcement learning based wood and food drying control. He has gained significant experience through internships as a Corporate intern at the MOL Oil and Gas Pakistan and a Research Intern at the General Motors. His research interests are on the modeling and control of complex systems and the application of machine learning for control.
